Licensing: Active license in Washington and Oregon, TPA and DPA. Dr. Stockstad is trained and licensed to diagnose and treat not only eye diseases but also systemic diseases that affect the eve.
Dr. Stockstad has lectured to eye doctors and physicians about laser treatments and low vision techniques for both informational purposes and Oregon Board approved continuing educational hours. He has been a featured speaker for Telesensory, maker of low vision equipment, and addressed the National Federation of the Blind. He was appointed to serve on the State Commission for the Blind in June 1997, by Governor John Kitzhaber.
